The most common challenge a grower faces is knowing when and how much to water a plant. With Oyama Planters, you always know when and how much to water. Simply check the soil in the inner pot and the water level in the outer pot. If both are dry add water to the bottom line in the outer pot. In a few weeks, you should be able to establish watering intervals, based on your plants specific requirements. Because of Oyama's unique planter design, some plants can go up to 10 days between watering intervals... Yes, even the NEW 1-1/2" Mini Planters do not require daily watering!!
