Available here are 1 gallon bags of African Violet Soilless Wicking Mix.  This planting mix should be used if you use Oyama African Violet Pots and other Self Watering planter, or you wick water your plants.
 
Wicking mix consists of :

  • 56% Canadian Sphagnum Peat
  • Perlite
  • Vermiculite

African Violet roots need air so they don't rot. You will have greater success if you use this potting mix.
